The trip down memory lane starts at Bronwydd Arms Station, and the steam train follows the route, originally taken by the Carmarthen to Aberystwyth line. A sharp climb out of Bronwydd village takes you through the wooded hills and open fields, hugging the river all the while. On this line, you are never far away from water! Again the train climbs away from the village of Pentre Morgan, and crosses the river into Llwyfan Cerrig. the train then runs next to the river for the next 3/4 mile along the new extension, before twisting in to our new terminus at Danycoed.
