Cae Iago Riding Centre |

|
You'll find everything about your stay at Cae Iago will be informal and relaxed, except your safety. We are a family business and many of the rides are lead by Lesley or the legendary Charlie, Lesley’s father and founder of Cae Iago riding centre over 35 years ago.Fun and relaxation are the main aims. If you want to stay in bed until breakfast time and saunter out just in time for the ride at 10:30, your horse will have been brought in, brushed and tacked up ready for you. You’re also very welcome to get up a bit earlier and bring your horse in from the field and prepare him/her for the ride. You will be supervised at all times, so it is an excellent opportunity to gain confidence if you are new to it.Our late Victorian farm house is clean and comfortable, especially with the introduction this year of en-suite facilities in all bedrooms and central heating throughout.Plentiful quantities of home cooked food and the occasional stroll down to the local pubs will ensure that you'll recover fully from the day’s exertions. If you fancy a leisurely walk along the river bank or through the fields in the evening, our dogs Jo, Meg and Poppy will be delighted to accompany you. Alternatively, there are plenty of interesting places to visit round and about.
To coin a phrase, Après riding can match anything that the Alps can offer!
Optional extras include aromaptherapy massages by a qualified pracitioner, bookable in advance, and the opportunity to purchase local produce to take home, such as Welsh lamb, cheese, honey and jams.
The comfortable living room has plenty of seating
for everyone. There's a TV and video, games and plenty of reading material for those who wish to relax.
Cae Iago has 5 en-suite bedrooms, all fully centrally heated.
We have 2 x 3 bedded rooms and 3 x 2 bedded rooms.
All have tea and coffee making facilities but people are more than welcome to come to the kitchen and make their own whenever they feel the need. People who come as individuals and don't mind sharing, would at the most be sharing with only one other person (and we only have nice people here!!)
Anyone opposed to sharing can pay a single room suppement. All rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
There is one bathroom in the house so you can soak away the aches and pains after a day in the saddle. There is an abundance of hot water and power showers in every bedroom.

|
We are open all year round. We have a wide range of willing and well cared for horses and Welsh cobs to suit all sizes and abilities. As you'll be riding for 4 to 5 hours per day, you'll be able to get to know several of them.
You can choose your holiday to suit you, from a full week with 5 or 6 days riding, a weekend or a mid week break. Mid week breaks are becoming increasingly popular and you can choose between 2, 3, 4 or 5 day breaks. You can also choose which day you’d like to arrive and depart.
You might like to include a 2 or 3 day trail ride in your holiday or break.
