a 4 star 17th century farmhouse, which is full of character with exposed beams and plenty of country atmosphere. It is admirably situated with splendid views across the River Towy which runs through the 210-acre livestock farm. Guests can relax on the lawns or in the picnic area or enjoy a stroll down to the riverbank, where they can take in the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.
Swans, herons and the Red Kite are frequent visitors to this stretch of the river Towy.
We are on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, 8 miles from Llyn Briane (with the RSPB Nature Reserve) and the Cambrian Mountains, we are 20 minutes drive from Aberglasney Gardens, and we are 30 minutes drive from The National Botanic Garden of Wales.

Penlan Isaf is a 240 acre dairy farm overlooking the historical town of Kidwelly with its ancient castle and beautiful old church. Enjoy superb panoramic views across to Gower and the surrounding countryside from the well furnished sunlounge where visitors can relax with a cup of tea and home made cakes. Each bedroom is decorated to the highest standard with TV, tea and coffee tray and hairdryers. The dining room contains many pieces of lovely period furniture where visitors can relax over a tasty Welsh breakfast consisting of local produce and homemade preserves. Motor Sports Centre, golf course and Pembrey Country Park and 8 mile stretch of beach are only 3 miles away. We are a good touring base for visiting the National Botanic Garden of Wales at Middleton Hall and Aberglasney Gardens which are only 20 minutes drive away. The Boat House at Laugharne where Dylan Thomas wrote many of his poems is well worth a visit. |

| Plas is a family run dairy farm in a quiet location conveniently situated off the A40 midway between Carmarthen and St Clears, en route and only an hour's drive from the ferries to Ireland at Pembroke Dock and Fishguard.
