Spectacularly set in the beautiful Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire, Aberglasney Gardens have been an inspiration for poetry since 1477. The story of Aberglasney spans many centuries, but, the house's origins are still shrouded in obscurity.
Aberglasney Gardens cover approximately 10 acres, including two woodlands. Firm gravel pathways connect all elements of the garden and wheelchair users are able to visit most of the areas within the garden. Two wheelchairs are available for use by visitors at no extra charge (please, if possible, book in advance to ensure availability).
Within the garden is an excellent tearoom which is open from 10.30am to 5.00pm, providing tea, coffee, cakes etc. throughout the day.
Homemade lunches are served from 12.00am to 2.00pm.
