Cwmcerrig Farm Shop & Grill is located in Gorslas, near Cross Hands,Carmarthenshire - selling meat, dairy products, fruit and vegetables. As well as a unique shopping environment, Cwmcerrig boasts a 100-seat grill serving traditional farmhouse fare, with carvery, pies, children's meals and snacks - all using fresh, local produce.
Farm Shop & Grill is a new venture which opened in February 2009. Located in Gorslas, near Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire - selling meat, dairy products, fruit and vegetables, Cwmcerrig keeps all aspects of the business local.
Wherever possible, livestock is sourced from Cwmcerrig Farm. Where this is not possible all red meat issourced from Wales. Overall, 80 per cent of the produce sold comes from within Carmarthenshire.
The farm's livestock includes a 90-strong herd of pedigree Hereford sucklers, 400 commercial sheep, 70 pedigree Texel sheep, and a free-range poultry flock which includes chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks.
As well as a state-of-the-art butchery and a unique shopping environment, Cwmcerrig boasts a 100-seat grill serving traditional farmhouse fare and the particular favourite, a carvery dinner.
