Cwmdwyfran Farm and its two four star self catering holiday cottages is situated near the historic town of Carmarthen, amongst some of the most picturesque scenery in Wales. The Farm has two beautiful holiday cottages recently refurbished to a high standard, which have been awarded four coveted stars from the Welsh Tourist Board. The cottages are perfectly positioned within Carmarthenshire's outstanding countryside and offers an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful and historic part of Wales whislt taking advantage of the many tourist attractions in the area from beaches gardens and castles to theme parks and mountain biking, a huge choice for all the family.
There are two semi detached cottages Swallow view and Nuthatch cottage which have been converted from an an old stone barn. The cottages are single storey with an open plan kitchen, living and dining areas. From the living areas there are patio doors leading onto a large decked areas where you can enjoy summer evenings.
Both cottages sleep four people in two bedrooms. Swallow cottage has a double bedded room and a room with a truckle bed (a single with a pull out bed underneath which can be made into a double.) Nuthatch cottage has a double and twin bedded rooms. All bedding and towels are included in the rental price, except for beach towels. Please note there are shower rooms only in the cottages, no baths.
There are washing, drying and ironing facilities in both cottages. The kitchens are fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer and microwaves.There are digital televisions with radio/CD and DVD players in both cottages and there is a library of DVD'S that guests may borrow.
