Dan y Parc is a comfortable 17th century farmhouse, set in 14 acres of wood and farmland nestling between the Cambrian mountains, the Black mountains and the Brecon Beacons. The historic market town of Llandovery is nearby. The Crychan and Halfway Forests, with their many miles of horse riding, carriage driving, cycling and walking routes are nearby. Dan y Parc has its own woodland walk, together with a natural waterfall. Well behaved dogs are welcome. WTRA approved stabling is available for horses.

Dan y Parc is a comfortable 17th century farmhouse, set in 14 acres of wood and farmland nestling between the Cambrian mountains, the Black mountains and the Brecon Beacons, near the historic market town of Llandovery. Dan y Parc has its own peaceful woodland walk with a natural waterfall, where you can sit, listen to the bird song, and relax at any time of the year.
We have three bedrooms (all recently decorated), a double en suite, a twin en suite and a single with sole use of an adjacent bathroom. An additional bed can be added to both the double and twin rooms. All have tea/coffee making facilities and colour television.
WRTA approved stabling facilities, with large rubber matted stables, a turnout paddock, and excellent outriding in the Crychan and Halfway Forests, is available.
A cosy lounge, with a beamed ceiling and wood burning fire, is provided for guests to relax in after a busy day and a selection of books, board games and DVDs is available.
A hearty breakfast is served in our light and spacious dining room, with produce sourced locally and our own free range eggs. Vegetarian, or other special dietary needs can be catered for on request.
We're happy to accommodate guests' well behaved dogs and have plenty of land on which they can be safely exercised.
Dan y Parc is ideally situated for touring South, West and Mid Wales. The area has many wonderful attractions, from beaches and gardens, to its many historic castles and interesting ruins.
Many species of birds can be seen visiting our bird tables and Red Kites and Buzzards are regularly seen circling overhead. The Dinas RSPB Reserve is also nearby.
There are many miles of beautiful walks in the area, together with a number of country parks and we are on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
For cyclists we have secure storage and can provide packed breakfasts/lunches if required. Alternatively bikes can be hired locally.
