Gwydre is a working farm situated at the foot of the Black Mountains, set amongst the beautiful scenery of the Brecon Beacon's National Park. Ideal for hill walking, walking the country lanes and fishing in the nearby lakes and reservoirs. There is also a feeding site for approx 25 beautiful Red Kites situated 2 miles down the road for all to come and watch from the hide. Gwydre is ideal for a family holiday and depending on the season children can feed the lambs, watch the calves or simply play in the fields. Gwydre is a comfortable, spacious well-equipped farmhouse which has full central heating, fully fitted kitchen with microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. The living room is very spacious with an original ingle-nook fireplace with an inviting wood-burner, logs are provided. There is also a TV, video, electric organ and snooker table. This homely accommodation has 3 bedrooms consisting of 2 double beds, 2 single beds and 1 cot,it also a bathroom, shower and seperate toilet. All linen and towels are provided. Adjoining the cottage is a superb lawned area with a large garden, garden furniture and a gas barbecue. Gwydre cottage is within 17 miles of Aberglasney Gardens and approx 26 miles from the National Botanical Gardens of Wales at Middleton Hall.
