Lightscape Photographic Holidays and Courses are designed to help individuals get the best out of themselves and their photographic equipment. The aim is to help individuals gain confidence and to help you develop an understanding of the requirements for capturing landscape images that you will be proud to show anyone. The emphasis is on having fun through learning.
The courses are designed for newcomers to photography as well as for the more experienced photographer.
Using a number of beautiful and relatively undiscovered locations the courses concentrate on capturing the stunning scenery that this part of Wales has to offer. From magnificent castles, moody mountains and moorlands, flowing rivers and streams and many other superb places you can be assured that you will not be disappointed with what there is on offer.
Limiting the number of photographers ensures that you will have the tutor's undivided attention at all times. For the beginner the tutor will help you with the different settings of your camera, explain their use and when to apply them, for the more experienced photographer the tutor will help you develop your photographic skills even further.
The tutor for all the courses is Hugh Gillings LMPA who has over 25 years experience as a photographer. He spent many years as a wedding photographer, however his main passion is for landscapes and the natural world. He is a keen birdwatcher and is at home in the wild landscape regions of Wales. Using his experience, knowledge and skill you can be assured of an enjoyable time on any of the courses that you attend. Hugh is a qualified tutor and has taught digital photography and digital manipulation for a number of years.
