Occupying 20 kilometres of Coastline on the Burry estuary, Llanelli in West Wales, The Park overlooks the spectacular Gower Peninsular and features an array of unique attractions, linked together by a continuous traffic-free cycle footpath.
The £30 million MCP project is the largest land reclamation scheme undertaken in Wales. More than 2000 acres of industrial wasteland has been remediated to provide a stunning 22km coastal path/cycleway between Pembrey Country Park and The National Wetland Centre of Wales at Penclacwydd. The newly opened Discovery Centre is a landmark building, providing a focal point for the MCP and North Dock developments. There are activities for everyone from cycling to bird watching to walking to sailing.
