Welcome to the New Inn – The New Inn is an Eighteenth Century Public House situated in the delightful rural village of Meidrim in Carmarthenshire – the Garden of Wales. It is an ideal location for soaking up the country air whilst enjoying a quiet drink and admiring the rural landscape.
At the New Inn, our two en-suite rooms have been awarded three star rating by the Welsh Tourist Board. Both rooms have recently been refurbished and both include tea & coffee making facilities, remote control colour televisions, radio alarm clocks and of course benefit from having a bar and restaurant on site.
The Bar area has a cosy traditional pub atmosphere, featuring original stone walls and flagstone flooring. The Bar is an excellent way to gain an insight into Meidrim village life; it is the hub of the local community. We have a darts boards and pool table available for guests’ entertainment. Meals can also be served in the bar if you wish, why not enjoy a bar meal whilst drinking a pint of real ale!
The Restaurant offers a varied menu catering for all needs, whether you are looking for a traditional bar snack or something a bit more special. Our French Chef, Christophe, is well trained and has developed his own varied menu with a French influence but using Local Welsh ingredients as much as possible.
NEW to the New Inn Meidrim, HOG ROASTS; We are now able to offer a hog roast both here at the New Inn and we can bring them to you. Give us a ring for more information.
