We are just a few minutes away from the fabulous new Ffos Las Racecourse. Wren Cottage is one of three delightful 17th Century former canal worker's cottages that nestle in idyllic rural countryside with many natural meadows and woodland home to wildlife and many wild flowers. The charming six acre grounds, also home to livestock of goats and chickens are bordered by the River Gwendraeth.
Although of a rural location, the cottages are within easy reach of the excellent beaches on the Carmarthenshire coastline. The area is home to many historic sites such as the 13th Century Medieval Castle in Kidwelly, one of Wales’s best preserved castles set on the Gwendraeth Estuary just a mile away. There are local shops, garages and good pubs within one mile of the cottage.

Wren cottage is spacious and comfortable with gas central heating, wood burner fireplaces and beamed ceilings. Tastefully furnished to a high standard with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath. Childrens play area has swings, slide and toys for the youngsters whilst we have lovely meadowland for the Dads and young teens to have a kickabout.
One can enjoy a relaxing massage in the jacuzzi hottub......or meander through the lovely gardens. Garden furniture and bar-b-que are there for your use. We often hear the low murmur of voices late of an evening with guests enjoying the night air and a glass or two …...
