A warm welcome awaits you at Penhill. We are situated in a tranquil corner of the Brecon Beacons National Park, with spectacular views of Carreg Cennen Castle and Black Mountain beyond. We are 0.3 miles from the castle, which is at the end of Day 6 of the Beacons Way long-distance walk. We are convenient for the nearby market town of Llandeilo with a good selection of shops and places to eat out.
Apart from the wonderful walking and cycling in the Black Mountain area, there is a wealth of other nearby attractions including the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney - A Garden Lost In Time, and the National Trust's Dinefwr Park with its historic castle, mansion and estate. Fishing and riding can be organised locally. The Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire coast and beaches are an easy day-trip away.
