The open plan lounge has floor to ceiling windows with amazing views. Comfy sofas, ancient oak beams, oak flooring, under floor heating and a wood burning stove in a stone fireplace create a home from home ambiance. We have ground floor facilities for disabled guests.

Penrhyn barn has superb, spacious accommodation for up to 10 people in five comfortable bedrooms.

Sky freeview TV, DVD, video, and a CD player are provided and there is also a selection of children’s videos and family games.
A large pine farmhouse table is perfect for dinning with friends and family and the range in the kitchen with a six ring gas hob and double electric oven makes cooking a pleasure. The well equipped oak fitted kitchen houses a microwave, double sink, fridge and dishwasher.
Also on the ground floor is a bedroom with a super king size bed which can be converted, if preferred, to either twin beds or a single bed with wheelchair disabled access. A wet room with support handrails and shower, WC and wash hand basin adjoins the bedroom.
A separate utility room with a sink, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer adjoins the barn. It has a radiator and is ideal as a drying room for wet coats, boots, muddy dogs, fishing rods, etc.
A flight of oak stairs lead onto a landing with access to four bedrooms all with high ceilings and exposed beams. There is a double room with an en suite shower room and two king size rooms and a twin room. All the bedrooms have stunning views of the valley. A shower room with a double power shower, hand basin and toilet is situated next to the twin room and opposite is a large family bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. From the bath there are fabulous views of the valley, perfect to relax in with a glass of wine! All the beds have deep, luxurious mattresses and cotton bed linen and towels are provided. If there is a young child in your party we will provide a travel cot with mattress, stair gate and highchair.
The ground floor is heated by oil under floor heating and upstairs by radiators; all the heating is thermostatically controlled for your comfort.
Patio doors from the lounge open onto a large south facing patio with a gas BBQ and garden furniture. The patio has a ramp for wheelchairs and a portable telescopic ramp provides entry into the barn. To the rear there is a lawn with a badminton net and access to the utility room and stables with safe storage for fishing equipment, bikes and canoes. Stables and grazing for visitors with their own horses can be provided.
All electricity, fuel and wood is included.
Pets are welcome but please note dogs are strictly not allowed upstairs (cream carpets) or on the furniture. There is loads of space for children to play and in one field we have a football pitch with two goals.
Penrhyn offers peace and solitude, relax by the river or walk along the banks and explore the pebbled beaches and deep gorge.
