We are a small family run Guest House in Carmarthen town. Y Dderwen Fach is a 17th century house with many original features yet with 21st century facilities. Convenient for town, coast, countryside and National Botanic Garden.
In the morning guests can have a full cooked breakfast, or a lighter meal.
We are situated near the centre of Carmarthen town, South West Wales within easy walking distance of the train and bus stations. We are a small family run guest house, and Y Dderwen Fach is a 17th century house with 18th, and 20th century additions. There are many original 17th century features, but with 21st century facilities. All the rooms have central heating, a colour television, and tea and coffee making facilities. We have some rooms en-suite, with the bathrooms having baths, so guests can can have a good long soak!
Both my husband and I are usually around to answer any questions you have about Carmarthen and west Wales, and if we don't know the answer we can find it for you.
We are convenient for the beautiful beaches of west Wales, the country side, castles, and the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Carmarthen town has many interesting shops, and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
There are several good restaurants nearby, or if you fancy a take away we can supply plates and cutlery.
A full cooked breakfast is included in the price, or if you prefer, you can have a lighter meal.
